    中文答案:学发音是学习任何语言的重要基础,首先要师从说标准普通话的老师。从听到说都要有正确的指导,在此基础之上多听多练。“语调”,可能是想问“声调”吧?“语调”不是语音阶段解决的问题,语音阶段注意的应是声调。
    English answer: Learning pronunciation is an important basis for learning a language. Having a teacher who can speak standard Chinese is the first step. The good and correct guidance is important and then you should have more practice. You want to know the tone. Intonation is not the focus when you learn the pronunciation stage. You should pay more attention to the tone.

    This has been institutionalized — Traditionally by a system called 注音符號, or pinyin system in mainland China.

    You can learn about that from Wikipedia. See below reference.

    Learn Pinyin first. If you master Pinyin of Chinese, you can learn Chinese word by yourself.
