I want to speak the language and I cant afford to go to china,unless if someone knows if there is scholarship scheme for chinese language study in china or anywhere.

How can I learn the chinese languages mandarin & cantonese ? I don't have any money to go into an extra class in my school or to take classes outside of school, how can I learn these languages ? There is an chinese girl in school who i want to date so i want to learn chinese to talk to her.

im English educated chinese guy and i dont know how to read or write but i know how to speak mandarin. what i afraid is that chinese language will be the international language soon as china is getting greater and better. i already feel upset that i dont know chinese and i heard from a friend said that chinese is getting popular so she gonna let his children to learn chinese in the future.

and i know some of u will say that i can still learn mandarin and etc but i dont have such time and such money to learn. it costs almost 0 per month to learn to write and read mandarin.
so, is it true? chinese/mandarin language will become the international language soon?

According to Biblical info, there could be no Chinese records prior to the Tower of Babel (about 2300 BC). The first dynasty was founded by Fohi (Yao) who was allegedly a descendant of Noah.
This is because until the Tower incident everyone spoke the same language, so no Chinese language.
Since Chinese written records extend to 6000BC (well before the Tower incident) does this mean that their language is not from god and really demonic?

I live in China and most of the games have been translated into Chinese. I can't read the text in these games. Is it possible that the original English version is still included somewhere? If so, how can I change it to use the English text?

Ok, so I know that the character is pronounced rén which means man/person/people.
But I also have heard it being pronounced with a zh sound kinda like zhen or something like that. Also I have noticed that most females pronounce it with a zh sound. So I'm just wondering if rén is mostly used by guys and females say it with a zh sound? Or there are more ways to say it?

Iam going to learn Chinese Mandarin for school as a elective. I was wondering if I go to china or Japan or someplace like that I can talk to the locals speaking mandarin? I also wan't to understand japanese or chinese tv shows and music! So my question is what is the primary language that japanese, korean, chinese , etc? I tried to go to the Regional and Language Option. Select tab Language then in the tab Settings, there is a drop-down menu but i can only find English (United States). When i try to add new language they prompt me for Windows XP cd2. But as far as i am aware there is only 1 cd for Windows XP. I have it. I tried loading it but they still want disc 2. Is there another way? What can i do?
