I work with on old Asian woman. I try to be friendly with her. She has tried to show me some words I just don't have a grasp for it. She only knows a few words English. I asked her once what is her language was I asked Mandarin or Cantonese. She said Cantonese.

We need to write placards in Mandarin Language, as we are given to understand that any message in Mandarin Language will have more emphasis.

2. Uyghurstan Du Li

im English educated chinese guy and i dont know how to read or write but i know how to speak mandarin. what i afraid is that chinese language will be the international language soon as china is getting greater and better. i already feel upset that i dont know chinese and i heard from a friend said that chinese is getting popular so she gonna let his children to learn chinese in the future.

and i know some of u will say that i can still learn mandarin and etc but i dont have such time and such money to learn. it costs almost 0 per month to learn to write and read mandarin.

I've been trying to add Chinese PinYin onto my language keyboard so that i could type chinese. I went to Control Panel, Region and Language, then I clicked Language, then add, and I don't see any chinese language that I could add (not even Hong Kong, taiwan, singapore version). I tried to go to the Windows XP website, but they won't let me download the language pack. What should I do?

There weren't spaces in the ancient European texts, but later they appeared.Can it be that absence of spaces slowers civilization development and makes education more complicated? I'm aware of the fact Korean, Japanese and some other languages have no (or hadn't but later introduced) the spaces. Will this happen to Chinese?

I don't understand how you could since I've read the inflection of each word actually creates a different word depending on whether the tone is slanting up, slanting down, high, low, middle, etc. Can you yell at someone in Chinese or a tonal language like you can in English?
