Chinese pronunciation of 人?
Ok, so I know that the character is pronounced rén which means man/person/people.
But I also have heard it being pronounced with a zh sound kinda like zhen or something like that. Also I have noticed that most females pronounce it with a zh sound. So I'm just wondering if rén is mostly used by guys and females say it with a zh sound? Or there are more ways to say it?

I can see where your question is coming from, and that you have a good ear.
The difference is that the Mandarin ‘r’ as in Ren, does not have the rolling R in it. In the American English R, such as in Rose, you form a perfect sphere inside your upper and lower lips and the tip of your tongue also curve downward. With the Mandarin R, it is all flat, which may sound quite close to a Zh ..
You are no doubt familiar with the pinyin S, C, Z and Sh, Ch, and Zh; that the latter have the rolls in them .. Well, my way of explaining this is that if you take the Zh and roll it a bit further, you get the Mandarin R ..
copy-paste the character here and hear the standard pronunciation…

(in Chinese r is not r as "road" but as "Gerry" without the initial d)…
