some...I like listening to mandarin (putonghua) because it is softer than Cantonese..probably because of the difference in the number of tones...4 and a neutral in mandarin...and arguably up to 9 in cantonese...

If it's pronounced the right way.

I prefer English over Chinese, but i like the way it sounds when it's not OVERLY- accented.

Dialects wise, my favourite would be Cantonese.
(No prizes for guessing why) :)

Actually, i very much prefer European languages, especially French :)

Personally (no offence), i feel that mainlanders from China speak Chinese too 'uncouth-ly', and their mannerisms are a big turn-off. [From what i've experienced.]

It's kinda hard on the ears. It sounds like the language has alot of hard consonants for beginning and ending sounds. Alot of languages sound "hard on the ears" to EFL (English First Language) listeners.

Languages that have similar sounds to English pronunciation tend to "sit" better with us. I enjoy listening to Arabic (except for the "h" sound, sounds like "khah") and German.

French, Italian and Lebonese sound beautiful to me since alot of their consonant sounds are silent. But that's not what you ask, now is it?

Chinese sounds harsh to me. No offense.

Here in Mexico I have heard some people speak Chinese and I think it sounds loud and rude sometimes. It seems that Chinese people are fighting eachother all the time...

Cheers!
