How can I input Romanized Chinese (Pinyin) with Microsoft word on Windows for free?
I want to be able to type in Pinyin without having to use alt+number combinations all the time. I need an easier way to input letters with the tone marks on them.

You will have to have your Operating System disc ready (i.e. Vista, XP)
1. Start -> Control Panel -> and then double click on Regional and Language Options
2. go to "Advanced" tab, in "Code page and conversion tables", check all the languages you want to install and then click okay
3. you will see a pop up asking you either insert your disk
4. insert the disk and then click okay again
5. after you have installed all the languages you choose, go to Start -> Control Panel -> and then double click on Regional and Language Options again, double click
6. this time choose "Language" tab -> click on "Details" -> "Settings" tab
7. click "Add" -> from the drop down choose "Chinese (Taiwan)" -> and then check "Keyboard layout/IME" and chose the options you’d like from the drop down menu, and then click okay
8. you’re set.
