How do I stay motivated to learn Chinese(Mandarin)?

I think the Chinese (Mandarin) language is a hard and time consuming language to learn. How do I stay motivated and make it fun?

    Chinese is an easy language…
    as easy as English…
motivation is your aim to learn it…
if you need it — it’s very easy to remain motivated…

Take it from a american born chinese…take a trip to china. I guarantee you will want to learn it then. I didn’t want to learn chinese either until i went back.

    I speak it too!!
    Dont worry.
    Dont pressure yourself.
If someone is like coaching you, and your having trouble, try practicing with friends who speak that language.

It’s up to you!! What reason are you learning Chinese/Mandarin? Keep that reason in your head. Make a song out of it. Go into restaurants and see if you can read the Chinese side of the menu! How you make it fun is up to you!! Do not forget that there is a reason you are learning this language and if not then just think of it as a future reference or an accomplishment to have learned one of the hardest languages!
    Keep going and study hard!
    Good Luck!!!

think about how china will take over the world and kill everyone unless they serve some purpose.
If you know mandarin, you may be able to save yourself.

Make yourself always feel interested and willing to learn, such as get fascinated with its culture, music, etc, once you feel it is your hobby to learn, you won’t feel it is too hard. :) . Maybe take a trip to Beijing and other famous cultural cities of China, getting to know the people and culture, you will love it. :)
