Learn to speak Chinese today
chinese characters don't show up in my computer. i tried searching in google for chinese language packs but in one of the first results in required office xp and i have no idea what that is. I have windows XP with Internet explorer and mozilla firefox. please help me asap! 10 points people! lol!

i didn’t download any language packs.
try following these steps:
’start’ menu > contol panel > Regional Language and Options.
Open it.
Click on the ‘Languages’ tab.
Tick the boxes in the ‘Supplemental Language Support’ box.
click ‘ok’.
You should be able to read chinese characters now.
you were not searching properly…
try "Chinese input"… there is even "google pinyin" program now…
where there is a will, there is a way…
