There’s really no such thing as a name having an english version and a chinese version. Unless you’re talking about the syllables in your name and finding the closest word in chinese that sounds like it since each chinese character is one syllable. So there would be no ‘official’ chinese name that goes along with your english name.
In example, some people in china have a chinese name and get an english name also and it’s not at all related to their chinese name. So you can’t exactly ‘translate’ your name into chinese. Plus there are 20 something different chinese languages so there is no real laguage called ‘chinese’. Ex. Mandarine, Cantonese, ect.
as there is a language called Chinese (the official language of China) all you need is to use a special "name dictionary"…
most western names are transcribed with Chinese characters already…
as for Cantonese — the characters will be the same (but Traditional font) while reading will be different…
It’s not really possible to write English names in Chinese characters. All you can do is approximate the sound. This leads to two problems.
a) There are many sounds in English which don’t exist in Chinese
b) Even if you find the sounds, the resulting Chinese is almost always complete nonsense which no Chinese person would even recognize as a name.
