A stab in the dark: I’d say it’s Americans. I know there are lots of Americans in business and finance that already work in China and speak Mandarin very well.
I can’t see Mandarin taking over English, it’s had several hundred years head start and is ingrained as the world’s international language. Mandarin will certainly become more prominent, just as Japanese did in the 1980s.
